i did not expect to be able to laugh so hard this week. i'm glad i did though. school ended a bit earlier today, at 2pm. a bunch of us went to the library to get a bit of studying done but D. and JP decided to catch a movie at SM [shoemart] so we're happily doing our work in the library when A gets an SMS. they want to know if 'the lake house' is a horrer show. A tells us and we all agree to tell them it IS a horrer show. hahaha. in hopes that they'll watch it together. at about 4 something D comes back and says 'that wasn't a horrer show, it was a love story!' we just burst out laughing. D said that they sat there, expecting to get scared and every 15 min they look at each other in confusion asking "did you get that?" he also said that it's a good thing there was a seat between him and JP, cos if not that would have been so brokeback. they came out of the movie theatre feeling really dumb cos they didn't seem to get the whole movie. gosh. we were laughing for a good 10 minutes. i could just imagine their dumb-founded faces. i'd have loved to see the look on their faces when they realised after that it was a romance movie. =P

as if that didn't make my tummy hurt enough, 10min before D came back, A was telling us a story that D had related to her. D was driving an ambulance once, and the person in it had passed away already. so he's driving, and he looks in the rear-view mirror and sees the person sitting upright! apparently when you have a fresh body, it may have gas. so sometimes the corpses can burp, moan or fart as the gas comes out. if there's a lot of gas, the corpse might fart so much that it sits upright. the whole imagery was too hilarious for words. [though a bit morbidly so] i couldn't stop laughing for 10min.

laughter really is the best medicine =)

just to add:
ohh. and earlier in the day at lunch A was telling us that according to her sister, when you learn how to do a rectal exam, etc. every student practices/learns using the SAME GUY..! can u imagine.. 80 people, one after the other... giving you a rectal. good grief. that really got me laughing as well. heh. oops. is that not supposed to be funny?
